Critical Care King Edward VIII Hospital
The intensive care unit at King Edward VIII Hospital is:
- a 12 bed closed unit
- an accredited teaching facility
Apart from King Edward VIII the unit serves as a level 1 referral unit for KwaZulu Natal.
The unit is closely attached to the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine.
